It’s an honour to have the Governor of Queensland as our Patron.

Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM, Governor of Queensland and her husband, Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD, are delighted to be joint Patrons of Queensland Water and Land Carers for the duration of Her Excellency’s term in office.

Queensland Water and Land Carers Chair, Mary-Lou Gittens OAM said ‘The Governor’s role is to represent and support our state of Queensland. This important work complements the work of our QWaLC member groups who protect and enhance Queensland’s environment”.
