As 2025 draws to a close, I want to extend my warmest thanks to every QWaLC member group and volunteer across Queensland.
This year has once again highlighted the extraordinary dedication of our members. Whether you’ve been restoring bushland, managing community gardens, monitoring waterways, regenerative farming, engaging communities, supporting catchment groups or contributing in countless behind-the-scenes ways, your efforts continue to strengthen the health and resilience of our environment.
Your work matters. It builds stronger communities, inspires others to get involved and makes a lasting difference to Queensland’s environment. Thank you for the passion, knowledge and generosity you bring to your local landscapes.
As we head into the festive season, I hope you enjoy a well-earned break. The QWaLC Board looks forward to supporting your efforts and celebrating more achievements with you in 2026.
