This year the Gambling Community Benefit Fund celebrates its 25th birthday.  To commemorate this milestone, the Office of Liquor and Gaming Regulation (which administers the Gambling Community Benefit Fund), in partnership with QUT’s Australian Centre for Philanthropy and Nonprofit Studies, will host the ‘Power of Community’ conference specially designed for small to medium-sized community organisations (organisations with an annual turnover of less than $1 million). 200 attendees will access workshops on governance, marketing, fundraising and volunteer management. They will gain insights, strategies and ideas on how to make their organisations more successful and sustainable, while growing the skills and connections required to better service their communities.
