The Saving Native Species Program is providing $224.5 million over four years to support the recovery of Australia’s unique plants, animals, and ecological communities. It is guided by the Threatened Species Action Plan: Towards Zero Extinctions 2022-2032, which identifies 110 priority species and 20 priority places to drive action where it is needed most, and where it will have the biggest impact.

The Saving Native Species (Priority Species) grant opportunity aims to put the 110 priority species on track for an improved trajectory (Target 1, Action Plan).

For this opportunity, grants of between $20,000 and $500,000 are available.

Applications for this grant opportunity are now open and will close on Thursday 7 September 2023. Organisations may apply for this opportunity if they meet the eligibility criteria (are an eligible entity, have an eligible project, and have eligible expenditure).

If you are interested in this grant opportunity, apply now at business.gov.au or GrantConnect.
