Yarn up is used in both aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures to have conversations, sort out problems and to discuss our grievances and to communicate with elders and our ancestors. QWaLC Board member Trevor Meldrum is a Kuku Yalangi man whose family has ties to Princess Charlotte Bay and the Palmer River and is encouraging QWaLC members to ‘Yarn up’ and get the conversation happening!
