Celebrating Our Collective Achievements across Queensland!

🌱💧 QWaLC Member Groups – Making a Real Difference in Queensland! 🌏🌿

Since its establishment 21 years ago, Queensland Water and Land Carers (QWaLC) has been the backbone of grassroots environmental action across the state. Founded to unite and support local groups passionate about caring for Queensland’s land and waterways, QWaLC has evolved into a thriving network connecting volunteers, staff, and partner organisations for greater impact.

QWaLC operates as a membership-based umbrella organisation, representing and supporting 527 member groups from every corner of Queensland. Through a strong structure of community volunteers, regional networks, and partnerships with local, regional, and state governments, QWaLC ensures that every group—no matter its size or location—can access resources, advocacy, and a collective voice.

QWaLC’s strong history, robust structure, and the passionate people who drive change have provided essential support for our members to deliver their dreams. Together, we’re creating a more sustainable, resilient, and vibrant Queensland for all.
